Black And White

Media: Pencil on paper.

Inspiration: This is a painting of a girl who works at cover girl. I love black and white shading it is one of my favorites.

How: I did this piece with a pencil, my picture, a cotton ball, a piece of paper, and a eraser. I drew a grid on my picture and my drawing paper. I than began to draw my picture box by box at a time . I used my pencil to shade areas that needed to be shaped to make it look real.

Flower Painting

Media: Acrylic on canvas.

Inspiration: This piece is a painting that is one of my favorites. Its my favorite because i absolute love flowers.

How: This painting was created with acrylic paint, and a air brush. I used multiple colors, i blended colors, i did a lot of layers. This piece took a little while because i wanted to take my time and because i wasnt at school to work on it . I worked very hard on this piece. I took this piece home and worked over it and added extra things ti  my piece , like i used the air brush painting tool.

Oil Pastels

Media: Oil Pastels on blsck paper.

Inspiration: I was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. This is one of the buildings he built.

How: In this piece i used Oil Pastels. The Pastels were kind of messy, But they were really fun to work with. When you used them on the paper and rub it , it is very soft. The Pastels are kind of like crayons.

Water Color Paint

Media:Water paint on water paper.

Inspiration: This piece was inspired by me. I came up with this piece, and i designed it . This piece was not one of my favorites because it was very messy and i got aggravated fast. This piece was kind of hard to do do because the paints got mixed everywhere and the paper was peeling . So i wasnt a fan of this piece .

How: With this piece i used water color paint . I had to paint one section and let it dry before i could paint anything else because if i painted one spot and then started painting another spot the two paintings would mix and be a disaster.

Elements & Principles

Media: Sharpie, color pencils, and pencils on paper

Inspiration: My inspiration in this piece was to learn the elements and principles. I created this so i could study it and learn. I thought doing this piece would be very useful.

How: In this piece i used an Adidas label and i traced it 14 times. 7 for the 7 elements and 7 for the 7 principles. In every Adidas Label was either an element or a principle showing what it meant.

Tiki Sculpture

Media: Clay

Inspiration: This Piece was kind of one of my favorites. I learned a lot not just about the tiki's but about the tools i used to  design my tiki.

How: In this piece i used all kinds of tools. I took a paper towel roll that holds the paper towels on it and used it to wrap my paper around it so it could hold up my clay , so my sculpture wouldn't collapse. I used water, slit. I used a technique to keep the piece on my sculpture to stay on . The technique is called slip and score. It was very useful.
